About Us

We are a family owned and operated facility. My wife Catheline, a registered occupational therapist, and attorney, and I have dedicated our lives to the rehabilitation of disabled persons for more than thirty years. We are service oriented, fitting the patients' and their families' needs with pride and dedication.

I started Garrison's Prosthetic Services, Inc. in North Miami Beach, Florida in 1986. We are now proud to have opened an additional location in the city of Margate, Florida.

After attending Northwestern University and U.C.L.A. where I obtained my formal prosthetic education, I became a Certified Prosthetist in 1979. I interned in facilities in Southern Indiana and Chicago where I trained for two additional years. I settled in the Ft Lauderdale area in 1980.

The field of prosthetics became interesting to me when I became an amputee at the age of seventeen. Being mechanical minded and having some artistic and creative ability, I embraced this as my career. Work in the prosthetic field began for me at nineteen years of age in 1973 and has continued ever since.

I have developed vast experience and knowledge in designing, fabricating and fitting all forms of artificial limbs for every age group. This includes sophisticated electronic arms and legs built with today's ultra lightweight technology. I enjoy providing aesthetically pleasing 100% cosmetic restorations for the finger, hand and arm.

I can quickly finish custom work as we do all the fabrication ourselves. My fabrication techniques are done with state of the art technology, as I am constantly improving my finished products.
